horseshoe bay trial run..

so, this past weekend us birds made tracks. as we initiate our training, we journeyed to horseshoe bay and back with our packs! other than a few sore butt cheeks we had a fabulous day. silly photos below.

Missión Statement

June 1st, 2011 we are heading south, down the coast. That's right, Haley, Josie, Lauren, and Hailey, are planning an adventure. Destination? Baja California, Mexico! BC to BC baby!

Along the way we plan to visit small scale grassroots organzations, organic farms, micro-breweries, artist collectives, indie publishing companies. Projects and operations focused on sustainable, environmental, and community based initiatives, parallelling our own. We hope to exchange inspirations.

As four Vancouver students with curiosities for art and the natural world, we want to explore the imagination needed to lead slower, healthier and more creative lives. Taking notes from the trail and the people we meet along the way we want to create a collaborative insight into a grassroots life. So to do that, we’re gonna document it. Film it, journal it, blog it. Do it right. Spark some conversation and get some coast under our tires.
